Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Because books.

America does seem to like the boys, bon bon. I'm a little worried about that, too.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

bon, your worry is also my worry. I think that Shannon is toast. The Ben/Ronnie train is going to roll right over her. As pretty as Ben is, he's shown himself to be a tremendous asshat (while Ronnie has been much more palatable - though not tonight). I wish Ben were in the bottom again, because I think Shannon would've at least had a fighting chance against him. If there's any justice in this world, though, Holly should have this thing in the bag. She was stunning in the photo shoot.

But really all of them were freakin' gorgeous this week. Just amazing.

Was the Stephanie on TC the winner this week?

I cannot recall which one Antonia is.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Top Chef: Yup. Every season I'm all, "I dunno if I'm going to watch this year." And then I'm always instantly enamoured. I think it's crazy the couple is in, and it'll be interesting to see how that dynamic plays out.

I liked a lot of the people, and I was thinking about how shaking during the first challenge might be a good sign.

MMaSM: Gorgeous! So lovely. I'm still all baffled by the Enquirer scandal. I'm so freaked out by the additional information that it was his house. I think he did a great job to keep it all under control enough to get the photos shot. Even if he is an asshat, that's a lot to swallow in the spotlight.

I think Ben did well and his shot was amazing. I'm glad to see him develop a little bit. I do think at this point Ronnie is weaker than Shannon, overall. But I'm not sad to see her in the bottom as I do think her attitude sometimes is weird. I don't get the constant pushback to feedback. She always starts talking before they stop. Anyway, it's the point in the show where good people are going to go.

Shannon was bad with the feedback. But dang, thinking about weeks past, I'm not sure which of them overall has done better. I mean, Ben did well this week, but usually he hasn't, AND he's been an asshat, so...

It's times like this when I'm all "Dang, west coast time sucks!" because I see everyone else talking about these things, and have to wait!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

If it were based on just this week, I think I would vote for keeping Ronnie over Shannon, but over all, I think she's done better than he has, and has more potential.

I think Shannon is going home though. Ronnie is too well liked.

eta: should I be whitefonting? Other people are, but I'm not sure why.

meara - Mar 13, 2008 9:12:20 pm PDT #3851 of 23273

...I don't think you have to whitefont in here?

But I do kinda appreciate it until it airs west coast, because I often forget which thread I'm clicking, while catching up, and hate coming in here and going "Oh! Dang"

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Poor Jonathan! And he was palying so well, too!
