Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

You kind of knew Chris was doomed when he pulled out the human hair.

But this is my point -- this is a show where the designers are constantly told to think outside the box, and constantly challenged to work with odd materials. Chris took all of the lessons from the show and pushed them to the Nth degree. To paraphrase a friend of mine, Chris made art. Rami just made clothes.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm not arguing (and in fact, I took a shower during the bit where the clothes were shown, and only came back for the judging). I'm just saying, he had the doomed edit. Especially when Heidi said "Rami, you showed us something new!"

Because books.

I honestly wasn't sure where the ick came from with the hair. The best wigs are made from donated human hair, yes? And you wear that right on your head.

I did think the second dress -- the little cocktail one -- didn't work with the hair skirt. Fringe I could have seen, or even more lace, but the hair seemed too uneven and hung funny. I loved the dress otherwise, though.

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, all Rami had to do to make the final three was show something that wasn't draped. When he did that, I should have known that it didn't matter WHAT Chris did.

I console myself by thinking that Chris did get to show at fashion week and I hope that he gets some excellent opportunities as a result.

Perzactly. In fact, I think I said the same as soon as these two "tied". Arrrggg. Rami's coat was horrible. It has TOO much going on. But, WOW, it wasn't draped.

Again, I think back to Heidi's Oscar gown - wonder if Rami designed that.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm bitter. Fuck it. I love Chris and that ain't gonna change. I think all four should have been in PR's finale. Why not?

He showed anyway.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Check out his whole collection. I think he should have showed the blue dress. I think that is a STUNNER.

That is gorgeous! I love the dark blue velvet piece after it too.

What a lovely collection.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I think I love the one-shoulder red dress and the little red-and-black cocktail dress more than anything else in any of the final collections (I'm unspoiled as to the final winner, but spoiled like a spoiled thing as to the contents of all the final collections, including the two decoys).

My favorite dress of all, from anyone, may actually be this one, from Elisa's second-chance mini-collection.

Art Crawl!!!

That's very pretty. (I like Chris' dress with the spiderweb on it too.)
