Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

One had an allergic reaction to something, the other was hypoglycemic from not eating, I guess.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That nurse cracked me up.

"That one's the allergy. That's the hypoglycemic. .... Yeah, I'm in here shooting this one [with the EpiPen] when this one drops."

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is anyone watching Last Restaurant Standing on BBCA? It's like the restaurant challenge on Top Chef every week. I'm enjoying it, but the American woman and her Jazz obsessed husband are really annoying.

Because books.

Aw, Amanda is butchering "Carry On My Wayward Son" on AI tonight. Huge props for picking a Supernatural song (by default!), but dude, even my crush can't overlook what she's doing to this song.

AI: I'm surprised that they liked Brooke. She was way too happy while singing ''You're So Vain''. That song need some venom.

Me, too, sj! It's not a bouncy, grinning from ear to ear song.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I'm sorry, Amy. I really wanted to like her tonight, but it didn't do anything for me at all.

So far tonight, I like Brooke best. The Carly Simon song was very good for her and playing her own guitar really worked for her.

Brooke is way too Up With People for me. All the swirly-girly-hair swooshing last week made me roll my eyes.

I still love my girl Ramiele, but she felt way too mannered tonight.

Amanda looks better with the softer makeup, less like she'd cut a bitch for giving her the wrong judgment, but everything about that performance? Was just wrong.

I also find Kristy's vocals mediocre at best and her squats and wide-legged stances, to borrow a Simon phrase, "ghastly."

But a lot of my opinions are different from the judges' this year, for some reason.

I think Ramielle has actually got one of the better voices out there, she just needs to find the right songs.

Dude, Alaina is also butchering "Hopelessly Devoted to You." Girls, stop wrecking songs I like!
