Absolutely. Didn't they do that for a challenge in Season 1? The Banana Republic one?
Sigh. Jay's Chrysler Building dress, which should have won.
I actually thought of Jay when they started this challenge. There used to a skirt on his site that I loved. (I would link to a picture but I can't find it now.) For some reason, I was thinking that someone should make that skirt in denim.
I also thought of Jeffrey when I saw Rami's zippers.
Two weeks in a row that I have like Sweet P's outfit. It's shocking.
ETA: Or is it three? Was the prom challenge three weeks ago?
Jay's Chrysler Building dress, which should have won.
oh most favoritest of ProjRunway designs ever.
Oh and I was at Neiman Marcus yesterday and saw many different designers with some variation on Victorya's bedazzled prom dress. That chunky stonework seems to be in, god help us all.
Ha! From here [link]
"Fleurchons are Satan's rhinestones."
On Supermodel: Oh, Ben. You turned out to be kind of a slut. A hot slut, but all the same. The Ben/Ronnie/Aryn sandwich was insane and wrong in all the right ways. Also, Frankie, you are beautiful, but you should be on your knees (riding crop not required) thanking the judges that they didn't put you in the bottom three because your attitude sucks serious ass. These models still blow Miss Tyra out of the water. Jay needed to go home two weeks ago, so I hope he bites it next week.
What about Perry? He blew me away.
What about Perry? He blew me away.
SO much yes. He had so much fun! And he and Casey looked damn good doing it.
I think this is the slashiest reality show I've ever seen. I approve. The boys should be in eyeliner every week!
PR:
RICKY? SRSLY???
I mean, for once his dress didn't suck, but come on. I guess my next question is how long has he been sleeping with Michael Kors? Because I have no other logical explanation.
Victorya's coat was embarrassing and I'm not sorry to see her go.
Christian's look was awesome, but agree with Vortex that it wouldn't have looked good on anyone curvier than his model.
Sweet P has consistently been creating the most wearable looks for the past few challenges. They're not the most innovative or exciting, but I always kind of go "Huh. I could wear that."
Chris' dress was just odd. It was like he made a perfectly nice cocktail dress and just started sewing random bits of fabric onto it.
Rami's dress was my favorite - you could see his talent for draping in the shaped neckline, but it didn't look like something off a Grecian urn for once.
Jillian, whatever. Her coat from last week was amazing enough that I'll let this one slide, but it just didn't fit. And I'm not sure why she made it a coat at all - why not keep the basic shape/concept and just make a dress?
