I'm very grateful for my DVR. Without it, I might be forced to watch all the promos for VH1's upcoming reality shows, including Celebrity Rehab (!?!), Rock of Love 2, and the new Scott Baio as a dad thing. Early on in the marathon, I was tricked into watching an extended promo for the new Peter Brady/Adrienne Not-a-Top-Model trainwreck.
I love you, 30 second skip button.
I am watching live, and now I'm afraid I'm going to have to watch all those shows!!
I taped what I hope is S4 tomorrow, because I can never remember anything about that season, and for whatever reason, it comes up a lot at work.
I started watching ANTM years later. I caught up on the earlier cycles but I usually missed the first episode or two of the marathon. So I'm seeing lots of stuff I've never watched.
Like the bar fight at Barney's (my 'hood). I never even heard about that one!
Project Runway: funny!
Also, they showed the gay version of the Levi's ad with the guy pulling his pants and the street up.
Okay, for those of you who watch SYTYCD, remember "Sex", the dancer? Well, I just saw that he auditioned for Make me a supermodel (which was just on after Runway, I'm not
watching
it or anything)
Yes, I saw that creep. I cannot believe these producers give him face time.
oh, you know that they had to. I mean, he showed up again. It was kinda funny to see him.
TAR: I was so sad to see Kynt and Vyxsin go. Apparently, they thought that Nathan and Jen were the only team that they knew for sure were ahead of them - because they missed everyone else while they were doing the u-turn. (But they should have thought that Nick and Don were likely ahead given that they started off in first place and got on the first flight.)
PR: I really thought that Jillian had won it but Rami also did an excellent job. I hope coming 3rd from last gives Victorya food for thought.
I'm Sure that Jillian is a little
Salty that she didn't win, with all of that work
From Jon's link a bit upthread:
The Tuesday premiere of "Ocean Force Huntington Beach O.C." typifies the network's direction. The series follows lifeguards on a busy California beach, emphasizing heart-pounding rescues rather than hours spent ogling hot bodies.
We ended up seeing a bit of the San Diego version in a vet's waiting room. I came away with the impression that the beaches in San Diego are very dangerous places.
