We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, I'm starting to really like Christian as a Project Runway character. With his nutty confidence and his "fierce" and his crazy hair.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

In real life, he's currently fine and dating Dale from Top Chef, so whatever it was, it apparently wasn't a long-term crisis thing.

Oh! I love knowing this. Yay!

Also, yay Tiff! Although my boy Tre is stymied again. Man, he can cook. Pretty much anything he puts on a plate, I'm all, serve it up.

I am right there with you on PR, Jesse. I loved Christian's exuberance. He is having such fun -- that whole team was great. Although I wish they'd chosen a rock & roll theme to unify their collection. Serioiusly, zoot suit, pleather, fringe?

His hair looks like a photo I have of myself all dolled up to go to my Congressman's office during our eighth grade Washington DC trip. Except that mine looked like that because it was all in a perky high side ponytail all spiky, and his just looks like that.

I'm kinda a fan of Rami and Kit. Oh, and Jack, I like some of the stuff Jack has done.

Tre's stuff always sounds delicious, but his overabundance of protein means his menu is probably one of the last I would have chosen as a three-course meal.

Jack&Dale4eva! That is a lot of adorable in one photo.

Yeah, Tre is big on the proteins, eh? I never know what would be appropriate for a Top Chef three course meal. It seems like they waffle on what they want.

Part of it is in their goals, I think. I think a perfectly nice three course meal would be a salad, poultry, and a fruit & cheese plate. But since two of those three things don't involve cooking, they'd never fly on the show.

Very true. But, bacon-wrapped veal with mac n' cheese, followed by lamb?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee.

Yeah, that is a little excessive.

Oh yay. And Dale's a local boy. Have to keep my eyes open.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Jack and Dale are the cutest things ever! I still want to know what's so dramatic.

I enjoy Jack on PR, but he's actually not one of my top designers. I really like Rami (although I didn't like the grey, drape-y dress he made for the first inspiration challenge). I also really have liked Elisa quite a bit, and prior to last night I liked Victorya's clothes as well.

Art Crawl!!!

I like Victorya's designs but I can no longer like Victorya. When I have time, I need to go look at the PR website because I keep watching PR and falling asleep and missing Team Christian on the runway.
