Survivor: I could not believe that James didn't play the Idol last night. The jurors' expressions were priceless. I did think he had a classy exit interview, though. Classier than he's been around camp for weeks now. For a long, long time, I had no idea who Amanda was, like at all, but she is a gamer. If she manages to get rid of Todd next, I will have to start rooting for her. And I still enjoy Denise, who was the cutest thing ever at the temple. The rest of them, eh. I do give it up to Eric and PG, though, for managing to stick around much longer than I thought possible initially (especially PG). Other than Denise, though, I still can't say that I actively like any of these fools. However, I wouldn't gag at a win by anyone left, even Todd.

ANTM: I was sad to see Heather go, too. The blondes do nothing for me. Chantal is just vapid and Jenna can take her bad weave, black roots and stank attitude and go home any time now. I cannot believe that at this point, I'm rooting for a Bianca/Tootie final two. This might be the weakest final four ever on the show, and none of them have what it takes to be a "top model" (even by this shows lax standard).

Me neither. Especially since he has TWO and is likely to win at least one more immunity challenge before his time to use them is up. I mean, they're not all going to be star-throwing and quizzes! But people have always been really reluctant to use their hidden idols on this show, I've noticed - they always act like "Whew, I have the idol, I'm safe!" but they treat them like security blankets instead of tools to stay in the game. It's odd.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It only just occurred to me that having designated fall guys are an asset when you need to get rid of people on your own tribe. That's what happened in Guatemala, IIRC.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

PR: I must say, I'm having trouble distinguishing several of the designers from each other. Hopefully, that'll work itself out.

Enjoyed Christian riding around on the big guy with HIV's (Jack?) shoulders. That was funny. Can't say I'll miss Carmen, although I culd at least differentiate her. She was the one who I always expected to break into a Duran Duran song.

I also give credit to PG for the idea that they should vote for Todd instead of James so that if James used the idol at least Todd would be gone.

I thought she should have leveraged her knowledge with James. Tell James, get Todd voted out, add Denise and have the majority.

Except I don't think anyone wants to be with James at the end. Strong competitor and hard worker, how could anyone beat him? I think everyone wants him out as soon as possible. (Thankfully,) none of these people seem to be the "he/she deserves it" type.

The first task of the majority might be to vote James out, but I admit that that is really difficult. So it was probably the right thing to get him out now.

Yes, James was definitely the more time-sensitive threat. Todd is the mastermind, but James having the immunity idols meant there was a point beyond which they couldn't take him out, and with his physical advantage he was likely to win at least one extra immunity before that.
