Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I was scared for Ricky, but his garment was very well made (if somewhat boring) and I gotta agree with Vortex that poor construction is a one way ticket to getting auf'ed.
Also, this week's winner and the dude in the blue t-shirt are very, very pretty.
I cannot wait to hear Michael Kors take about turning someone into a streetwalker. Should be fun.

me too. Plus, he got a lot of screen time.
The poor construction combined with the boring design deserved the boot. Ricky's babydoll may have been boring to the judges, but I thought the fabric choice made it lovely. The girl with the train should have just cut the damned thing off! Because the dress was nice except for that.
I didn't like Christians brown plaid jacket at all! I can't believe he was top 3! I loved the winner. That kind of draping is an art. I just hope it's not all he can do.
Oh and I liked the purple dress and the orange/red one too.
I thought all the designs were meh to awful. I am scared for this season, but must have faith in the Elves! I am pleased that they got rid of the "model competition" and the audition sequences.
But wtf was up with those shoes! Not a single model could walk in them. Or else all the models were amateurs.
I think that Christian's color sense is suspect but the back of that jacket looked great. (I think that was the only thing I liked about it - he kept saying how well it fit the model and I thought it looked off.)
Liked Rami (Rahmi?). And I think that Elisa's dress without the train could have been a winner - it looked sharp and the color was great.
Man, at this stage there are so many competitors it's hard to distinguish them.

yeah, a couple of them walked like linebackers.
(I think that was the only thing I liked about it - he kept saying how well it fit the model and I thought it looked off.)
she was slouching with one hand on her hip. It made the jacket look uneven. If she'd stood up straight, it would have been fine.
Is there NO Tim's Take this year?
Is this because of the NBC/itunes deal?

I MISSED IT!!
pout.
If you mean you missed the show, believe me Aimee, you'll have plenty of chances to see it again! I think they showed it at least five times last night before they switched over to infomercials.
The long purple dress was fierce. Loved the orange dress, too. loved the black and white pring with the blue.
Yes, yes, and yes. I loved Big Chris's purple dress!! (I feared that he wouldn't get what he wanted in the mad dash for fabric.) And that blue just popped on the black and white dress.
Yeah, I thought Chris' dress was excellent.
I thought that the orange dress looked great in movement.
