Also that all the ingredients are in similar containers, unlike at home. I mean, they do look pretty identical!

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I've done it at a retail job when both sugar and salt were in identical little takeout containers. Tea with a teaspoon of salt is pretty awful.
ick ... I once saw a bit on a Rachael Ray show where she had a guest and, with her salt in a small dish, the guest just dumped the entire dish into whatever they were making ... Rachael gasped and just stood there for a moment ....
I think the salt and sugar are in nearly identical containers. You would think that production would figure out visually different containers that aren't jarring obvious to viewers. (I assume they don't want the containers to stand out).
Or maybe it's a test to see who either checks before using whichever? a way to sort out who's really paying attention?
I haven't been watching SYTYCD for awhile, the season with the little kids turned me right off. But I've been listening to musicals a lot at work ... Hamilton and anything tangentially connected. Which includes A Chorus Line.
So tonight I got around to watching Every Little Step, the documentary about the show and the casting of the revival. Who should be one of the finalists for "Mike"? Tastee Oreo himself. He didnt get it because his ego was out of contro, and he comes across as a real dick. Such a surprise!
I'm not sure if I'm going to bother watching the crafting show. It didn't grab me that much, and I'd really rather watch more episodes of heavy rescue tow trucks wrestling with wrecked semis on Toronto freeways. Really. I find it oddly compelling.
Watched SYTYCD on tivo delay tonight. The wardrobe crack was strong in Jensen's outfit tonight. [link]
Important News: the Great British Baking Show final is this Friday and they're starting half an hour early. So ... make sure you don't miss that first half hour! (better than the last half hour, though)
