Where I thought Dexter was gonna go with it would have been something Sean did in his Julius Caesar collection, or close to it, yeah. Would have been a different problem, at least.
You are right about the theme - I was surprised that the judges made almost no references to the putative inspiration.
When Mah-Jing was talking about the condensation I thought he was going to do .. some kind of beadwork or take a bronze fabric and use a shiny on top (like Brik did) to create an effect at the bottom. And maybe use just a few beads to evoke water droplets.
I'm kind of watching Survivor. I really really hate the Gen X vs Millennial thing. Everyone acts like they've never dealt with anyone outside their generation.
BUT after allowing the power couple to slide it finally got broken up. I was worried Taylor would get voted out and I'm interested to see if he's really that dim or if it's just an act.
I watched the finale of great British bake off. So sad! Though there's still a couple seasons I haven't seen from earlier...
oh I'm behind on that too... got to catch up.
Watched PR... thought the wrong person went home and I can't believe Erin's was just.. all that time spent for what looked like nothing.
Also looking at Laurence's pants last night (the ones she wore not the ones she made)... and whoever made the dolman sleeve jacket-- I thought for the first time drop crotch pants aren't ugly and look kind of comfortable.

I thought that the right person went home. Although I appreciate the work that went into the garment, it was not well made. I'd rather see simple clothes that are well made than a tricky garment that doesn't fit well and puckers in wierd places.
I was thinking about that later that the top was really off. Cornelius had fit issues.
The Voice Austin Allup reminds me of some actor but I can't think who and it's driving me crazy.
I actually liked Brick's pattern mixing, but if he's gonna say it just kinda happened he is never gonna get away with that. OTOH, Cornelius's whole outfit was tired and that halter top was just bad. OTOOH, we have seen him do better and I don't know that Brick has demonstrated he has anything else to show us right now. So I'm ok with him going home. He had a really good little goodbye monologue, I thought.
Natalya's outfit was great, although I didn't love the patch pockets. I might have given her the win over Laurence, actually.
Erin needs to get her head in the game, I don't even know what she was trying to do. Honestly, what I kept thinking while the judges were talking to the designers was what was Erin thinking when she dressed herself? I found her gym shorts look very distracting.

I didn't mind the pattern mixing, I mind that it was bad.
