Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I caught part of the first audition show and didn't come back. Saw part of it last night and there was a boy and a girl dancing together ... well, theoretically together - they weren't in step and he wasn't doing too well.

Aside from the general skill levels of children, I was afraid of seeing stage parents pushing kids past their levels of comfort or ability.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I totally forgot there was a dedicated thread for this. You guys know that I'm going to appear on America's Got talent, right?

Here's an advance clip that was used by NBC for promotion.

And here's a tiny clip that was broadcast last night.

I don't know when my actual performance will air. Probably next week or the week after.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Jon! I don't think I knew that.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I meant to post this earlier, but the most recent season of the Great British Baking Show began tonight on pbs.

Yay! I cried when that one cake failed. And I'm a little sad I'm spoiled for the winner, but the show is still well worth watching.

I'm spoiled for the winner as well, but I'm still glad it's back.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm definitely going to be on AGT this coming Tuesday, July 5, between 8 & 10pm.
