Ok, I just started watching this week's PR and I just have to say - last season they went to Italy for inspiration and this season they're at a Best Western in LA. Um. Not that LA can't be inspiring, but...budget cuts, yeah?
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
But it was a Best Western Plus!
I did deliberately leave that out to skew the story.
Candaces's back is pretty but the front is boring.. I like Kelly's look but not for the red carpet. Her created textile doesn't read on camera, I guess. I really like Ashley's, although the transformative quality of her textile did not come through. I mostly like Edmund's, but it's maybe too short. Nice handling of color, though, and I like the sleeves.
Also, it's interesting how different they all ended up when they initially were all talking sequined-gowns-with-trains.
Gah, I should FF through the " why should you advance and who should go with you" part, I always hate it. But I am weak.
That is not the result I expected.
I am hoping that we will find out next week that Tim used his save
That wouldn't surprise me, but I don't want to count on it. We'll see.
I am very disappointed that Tim didn't use his save. But, I suppose that it will be better TV if he does it all dramatically at the beginning of the next episode.
