Glad that Tim Gunn didn't use his save.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That did not even occur to me, but yes.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Not gonna miss the kid. But, I was thinking of the top 3, they picked the wrong winner. I would have gone for Ashley's.

SYTYCD Top 8

SYTYCD - I couldn't take my eyes off of the terrible dropped crotch of Hayley's awful bodysuit

No kidding, that was bad.

Also, I can't imagine Megz actually has to work on core strength.

I'm gonna agree with that. She has posture issues and maybe extension, definitely needs work on her lines, but not from any lack of strength.

Side note on that paso double - I kind of liked that she had cape work in the abstract, but that is really just one more entirely new technique to try pick up on top of, oh, the whole damn dance. No wonder she had some extra tension in her shoulders.

Baby Virgil!

Wow, Jaja can really do Ginger Rogers! That was terrific.

I'm gonna be disappointed by any of these going home. No that's not true, I wouldn't miss Derek. Won't, as it turns out.

I think I'll be caught up by tomorrow night! Amazing.

SYTYCD Top 6

20 minutes in - so far I love everybody, but Jaja and Alex, wow. I am digging this Tessandra Chavez choreographer. Really interesting.

Will not be caught up before the east coast showing tonight, boo having errands to run instead of watching TV all day.

Not into Pharside and Phoenix at all. Pretty sure if they had just given Virgil and Jaja the theme and costumes and had them choreograph it themselves it would have been MUCH BETTER.

ETA also, do not want any of these 6 to go home. But that's probably the right outcome.

I am happy with the winner and the runner-up.

There were some actual new dances on the finale show, for anyone who hasn't seen it. Some good stuff, and a little wtf.

I loved the new dance. I had also wanted to see those two dancers dance together. It was WONDERFUL.
