Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That was amazing. Also the youngest-contestant-ever totally micromanaging her team with the painting. I love that stuff.

I was a little disappointed that Logan's (is that his name? I think so) team was all guys. I'm sure he didn't set out to do that, but it did make me root for him less.

RPDR: I am still watching but these queens are not bringing it like it should be brought. Fame and Violet are gorgeous to look at but neither one has a personality worth watching. Kennedy Davenport needs more sass, although I did appreciate her Little Richard in Snatch Game. Jaydn Dior Fierce has taste level issues. I mean! I started out really liking Katya but she has faded as the competition has gone on. I'm totally rooting for Ginger Minj to be the first big girl winner, but in any other season, she'd be mid-pack at best.

Other than Violet, Kennedy, and Jaydn, I didn't notice a lot of really long hair, but I admit that I haven't been paying that much attention. They had a Snatch Game marathon on last weekend and it made me miss those old seasons so much. They haven't had a really stellar crop of queens in a while, maybe since Willem's season.

Anyone still watching Amazing Race? Such a terrible season. The whole blind date concept just makes me want to hurl.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm watching but not really rooting for anyone.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Maybe it's just three! Now I forget. But I am totally with you on rooting for Ginger Minj in a lukewarm kind of way. Miss Fame's boy self is kind of amazing with the chickens and whatnot, but Miss Fame herself? Nothing there.

Boy Fame is adorable. In fact, I really kind of like Miss Fame, too, but her lack of performance experience is really letting her down in the competition. I don't know why queens like Fame or Chachki who seem to be purely fashion and glamour queens even want to be on RPDR. This is not the show for you if you can't act and be funny at least a little bit. It's like they don't even know RuPaul at all!

Seriously. I think the other half of Violet Chachki's shtick is aerial stuff, which is cool, but still doesn't come in on RPDR!

Chachki is gorgeous and her costumes are to die, but her schtick was old in episode 2. Yes, dear. You're very pretty. Now what? And she turned Max into a bland knockoff Chacki last night. Boo!

I was really hoping for a Mrs. Kasha Davis return if we just had to have someone come back. That Atlantic City slot machine queens joined at the cooch drag they had going on was clearly superior to anything else on that stage. Trixie saved Pearl's ass again. Oh, well. At least the right queen went home. Jaydn was well past her sell-by date.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Mrs Kasha Davis is from my town! She performs regularly with Pandora.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Is anyone else still watching the Voice? Last night's elimination surprised me. I didn't think she would win, but I thought she would make the finale.
