Finally saw the TAR finale and was delightfully surprised by the winners. Satisfying end to the season. I'm horrified that TAR is turning into Chains of Love. Do not want.

Thrive to spite them

Has anyone been watching The Taste ( man I miss TWOP because I could always drop in and read about random reality shows I was watching).

If anyone is watching I wondered what your thoughts are on the changes in the elimation format and if Nigella should be replaced as a mentor. She doesn't have a good track record - if she picks people others do they people go with someone else and the people she's the only one to pick aren't that strong.

askye, I'm watching. Nigella is an executive producer, so unless she decides to leave as a mentor, I doubt she is going anywhere, but I do feel bad for the terrible way she seems to be treated by the people she picks.

I'm watching The Taste. I always feel badly for Nigella. She only gets folks who no one else picks. Has she ever won a head to head battle with the other mentors? Then again, if I were on the show and had the choice between Nigella and Marcus or Nigella and Anthony Bourdain, I know I who I'd choose. I might pick Nigella over Ludo but that's just 'cause he's so arrogant.

I hate Ludo. The way he screams at his team and stuff. If I were a contestant and had my choice I'd go with Marcus or Anthony.

Nigella makes some tactical errors. Like going for sweets during the holiday competition when she said chefs generally donot go for sweets and Anthong specifically said the guest judge prefers savory food. Nigella had to know that and yet she picked a tricky dessert to pull off. Although maybe she had to when all the guys went with fowl. No one has roast or ham on Christmas? Because that's what I had growing up.

Poor Nigella, again.

The forums at Previously.tv have many of the former TWOP posters...

I didn't watch the first part and it's not On Demand for Comcast so I don't know what happened. But when it comes back on I'm going to try and watch it. I felt bad for Natasha, especially since she helped Jen with her dish. And I felt bad because she had Ludo scream at her, I know that's his "thing" but I can't help but think she was flustered because of his screaming and antics.

I almost wanted to see Dan and Natahsa to go against each other just to see if Ludo's head would explode.

I think Natasha would have thrived with Bourdain. Ludo, I just can't stand.

If you like competition shows, I recommend The Great British Baking Show. I'm currently watching it on PBS, so...check local listings?
