It feels line Probst/producers are pushing that line on him. Not that he's not running with it, of course.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Oh, before I forget, evidently Amazing Race is starting TONIGHT. I hope that changing the night to Friday doesn't mean that it's on the bubble.
Yeah, that can't be a good sign. As usual, it would help if they didn't change the title of the show every time -- my DVR would have automagically gotten it for me!!
PR: It was high time for Alexander to go, but I thought Charkita is running out of lives.
She hasn't made anything really great that I can recall. But neither has Alexander. I like her, but I don't think she'll last much longer unless she really comes through next week.
I haven't been watching PR but I caught it last night and I thought it was highly out of pocket that Tim let pink peplum have extra time to sew her zipper. What happened to the "Cry and cut" days? Also, most of the stuff that got made was either not cute or boring. I loved the dress with all the ruffles and embellishments and would've given it the win. Doubt I'll be watching much more.
TAR: So glad with the team who went out first. Now if we can just get rid of the orthodontists, we may have a decent cast this year.
Alas, the dentists (Misti is no name for a dentist) look to be in the ultra-competitive camp. There's always hope for broken oxen, though.
Nobody appears to be afraid of heights, or lack the ability to swim. Now to see how they do with standard transmissions....
I would have said too bad, so sad, no time for you about the zipper, but just sending some random lady off the street down the runway with a gaping hole on the side of her garment seems harsh. And Char's blazer was terrible, the sipper wouldn't have made much difference either way.
OTOH, if Char gets ten minutes to sew in a zipper, why do the rest of the designers have to go sit down for that time instead of making some last minute touches on their looks?
Not Tim's finest moment.
Yeah - why not everyone gets 10 more minutes? That was some bullshit.

I agree in principle, but I think most of the designers had already sent their models down, so it wouldn't have really worked.
