Oh, that was a good jive! How fun. Bridget and Emilio were super cute in the little talky bit - Bridget totally won a lot of good will with that "a lot of people have magic wands" comment.

I don't know if I could have really appreciated any dance to that Buble cover of Queen. That's just weird, and not the kind of weird I like.

And fun Broadway! Hooray!

Loved the Viennese waltz, but I almost always do, so. But that was lovely.

Wait, no dance for your life solos? Do not like.

Not happy with who they are sending home, either.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wonder if they'll starting dance for your life when there are fewer couples going -- they need to save time in the show for viewers' dance moves, obviously! (Not.)

It's like they are not tailoring this show for me, the non-voting casual watcher.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I don't miss the dance for your life. With very few exceptions, they were pretty terrible and despite the judges' huddle afterwards, I don't think they ever made a difference in who the judges decided to send home. That's primarily a producer driven decision. That said, I'd rather see more of the kids dancing and less of America attempting (mostly poorly) to do Chris Scott's choreography or have to see random musical acts. More than anything, I'd love for them to go back to having professional dance troupes on as guest artists. That was amazing and brilliant.

I think I'm just feeling picky or something. I am not loving most of this choreo or dancers. I'm barely able to distinguish who the heck these folks are! I do like Misty Copeland as a judge, though.

and then I realized that aside from Bridget and Emilio's Jive, Ricky and Valerie's Viennese Waltz and Rudy and Tanisha's Broadway, I didn't really want to watch any of the other dances again and that made me sad

This is totally my feeling! Yes.

Lacey Schwimmer looks awful with blonde hair, dang. Also, thank god they finally waltzed to a song that is actually a waltz!!!

I wonder if they're having more/better/different broadway this year because of the prize being "on the Town"?

However, I will also be in LA on the Wednesday night of August 13th, which I think would be the Top 10! Anyone want to have a watch party? OMG< or go see "Step Up All In"????

I definitely don't know who the dancers are/can't tell them apart, but I blame the judges/Nigel for feeling lukewarm -- that skeleton number was great, especially the girl whose name I can't remember!

I was trying hard to remember her name, too, because, yeah, she was good. Carly?

(a) That makes sense. (b) Now I'm picturing the negotiations "Ok, we will cast whoever wins in On the Town but NO TYCE BROADWAY"
