Aw, the eighteen-and-a-half-year-old nine-year-old is a big part of why I love this show. No matter what else you can say about Nigel, his encouragement of young dancers, and of dance in general, is really outstanding.
As much as I loathe Justin Bieber (and I really, really do), I can see that as another way for Nigel to keep the show on the air and keep viewer interest high, especially with a young audience.
Seriously, Cyrus and Fik-shun and this kid are the best.
Edit: I take it back. TWITCH and this kid are the best!
His FACE. "My dream came true!"
I also love that they're inviting pro dancers to judge auditions. Misty Copeland! Very cool.
I can't help it, though. When Mary starts crying, I follow.
Did I hallucinate or did anyone else see that commercial for a Fox show starring David Tennant?
This kid with the creature dance reminded me of Mark.
He was great! I love this show. So totally my happy place.
And yes, that show -- Gracepoint -- is based on the British show Broadchurch (I think?) that he also starred in. Looks good.
So it wasn't just me. That's a relief.
I can't believe they made the funky ballerina go through choreography. Didn't she say she's training at Harlem's Dance Theatre? Also, she was fantastic! They make such weird choices sometimes.
Yeah, that did seem weird. But, she's going through, so that's what counts.
I liked the guy who came back with a better attitude. It's too bad he didn't pass the choreo round. He was clearly trying really hard.
I liked the last guy, too, who had been shot. I was bummed he didn't make it.
Oh, and Jenna being an All-Star! That was great!
