I am super happy for Dale right now -- win or lose, at least he can feel like he has his mojo back. Unless they think his Plan B was nast, I guess.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I'm feeling really happy for Dale too.
I'm surprised - I really thought that Casey and Hung were in the finale FOR SURE and it would only be a question of Dale or Brian.
Now, I'm thinking that Dale maybe the shoo-in and it's a toss-up among the other three.
Before I watch it, I'm going to predict that Collicchio looooooves Casey too much not to have her in the final.
Wow. Excellent prize for Dale!
Ooh, did they bring back all the guest judges and add Todd English? (next week.)
I'm happy for Dale. Brian was the right choice.
Yes - it's like all the Brians could not get their shit together at once and therefore he was at a loss.
I'm happy with the final three. You knew that Hung was going to make it as a producer decision. Brian's dish was alll over the place. I was worried about the rareness of casey's elk, but the smoked tomato sauce pulled it out. I'm glad Dale got his mojo back, and the prize was excellent. You could see Hung was pissed he didn't win.
Yeah - this week's prize may have been the best one. And one Hung clearly would have appreciated. Now, can he really think that this judge didn't know what he was doing in NOT choosing him?
he'll blame it on it being his first time cooking elk. if he'd had the same experience as everyone else, he would have won, of course.
God, Eric Ripert is SO MY BOYFRIEND.
You guys would make a very beautiful couple!!!
I was so worried for Casey and so happy for her and Dale, the Big Gay Chef.
My group watching ANTM were kind of shocked that Mila was sent home. We were sure Tyra was going to keep her on until she had made her cry!
Horsie Yalie was beautiful in her picture but she kind of bugs me. We kept ending everything she was saying, like, "I just don't get into girls catfighting" with "at Yale." You know she's saying it in her head! I hope though that she steps up as Heather's protector in the house. She needs one! And I really want her to succeed.
