I finally watched the TAR season opener. These are...not my favorite All Stars. I will always root for Flyte Time and Big Easy and I have some residual love for the Cowboys. I appreciate Margie and Luke (deaf son and mom) more than I like them. Mallory (Miss Kentucky) really grew on me but I don't think she and Mark will make great partners as neither one of them is what I'd call a great strategist. Everyone else is either meh or actively dislike. I don't know that I can take the Afghanimals again so soon after the last time. I really, really dislike them. I would've preferred to keep the Twinnies.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Survivor: Sorry Brains, turns out you're all pretty stupid. I'm rooting for Brawn.
Really? I'm not a big Afghanimals fan, but I'd so rather see them than hear the Twinnies yelling at each other constantly.
Survivor: YOU'RE AN ENGINEER AND YOU CAN'T DO A PUZZLE? Sheesh. Where did they get these so-called brains?
Sorry to see Kentucky go from TAR, but that mixup was completely a result of them not knowing/trusting eachother.
The Henson Creature Shop show has me intrigued. It could be awesome, or it could be a train wreck. Or it could be an awesome train wreck.
Last week's Under the Gunn: I don't love that it's a steampunk challenge, that seems kind of tired at this point, but I DO love hearing Tim say "think about Doctor Who".
Anybody else looking forward to Neil DeGrasse Tyson (sp?) doing Cosmos? Because I certainly am.
I finally caught a marathon of Under the Gunn and liked it more than I thought I would. Mondo is the only one who makes a halfway decent mentor. This does not surprise me at all.
I am sad that I have no enthusiasm for this season's ÀÌ at all. I'm still watching and Harry is a charming delight but the kids are underwhelming in the extreme.
I'm kind of interested in Anya as a mentor just because her weaknesses as a PR contestant don't come into play and she does have great taste. She's not great at handling hr designers, though. Nick does not have a handle on mentoring AT ALL but I like his designers. I'm enjoying Mondo very much, and seeing him talk about what he was doing since PR in an early episode prompted me to go look for his stuff online, and I actually found a dress I could afford. Haven't worn it yet, but I'm pretty excited to own it.
