The Voice: I would say that Adam just picked his battle pairings by looking at pictures, but the people were also well-matched!

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Vanilla Ice Goes Amish is kind of fun and sweet. Also, the Amish on the show appear to be real Amish, not the fake ones on various 'reality' shows. How weird is it that the guy who is the epitome of Novelty White Rapper is doing the best presentation of Amish culture?
Oh, man. Not loving this season of TAR, all my favorite teams keep going home! boo!
Yeah, a definite boo! Switching tasks was a sad mistake for them.
Gdansk was lovely, though. And packzis!
Boo is right!
I feel sad for the OK boy who felt "humiliated" by wearing a dress.
According to the onscreen comment, the teams had been racing at least 30 hours by the end of last episode. And before they reached Gdansk, they had to wait for a boat, sail to the port where they got a plane, and fly to Poland. Those are long long LONG legs they're racing.
aw, I loved the mountain men. They were hilarious. At least they won a little cash for coming in first earlier though.
Having lived in Boston for 20 years, I get a kick out of Jason's Boston accent kicking in every once in a while. Adorbs!
I'm sad that the Duck Dynasty guys went home, but bald snarking the human statue task was a bad, bad idea. Didn't they already have like 30 of the 75 (insert Polish money here) that they needed? That's way too far into the task to give up. Sigh. Too bad they weren't total hams like the Afghanimals. I could've easily given them up.
However, I do like a lot of the teams still in the race. I am enjoying the Boston couple a lot. They work well together and they don't bicker. I still like the married ER doctors. The Baseball Wives are not nearly as bad as I thought they would be. And I'm liking the tasks this season. They are back to more than just "Go here. Do this. Take a taxi to the pit stop."
Zlotys! (Polish currency, the name of which makes me smile for some reason.)
Top Chef NOLA:
Heh, I saw my friend Jay at the Halloween party on Top Chef. This was the ep he tried to hook me up with going to, but it just didn't work out.
Man, Michael is a tool! This interview solidifies it for me: [link]
