TLo thought Dom's should have won by a mile. Which I thought was a really interesting perspective. They didn't think that any of them were avant garde at all.
I thought Helen's was terrible. I thought she and Justin should have been cut based on those garments. I don't like Alexandria at all so I would have been fine with a final 2 with Bradon and Dom.
I really think it shows a lack of creativity (or boldness? point of view?) when everything is all black.
*looks down at own clothes* Oh well.
Alexandria's problem is that she seems so obsessed with making things "cool" that her designs always come across a little desperate. Though I actually did love her avant garde look. (Growing up goth-ish in the age of grunge...how could I not?)
I meant as a designer, Jess, not as a consumer. Like I said, my wardrobe is more than 50% black, too.
The thing is, I love a black anything. I buy a lot of black. But it just looks crappy on camera. Even from the judges' seats it can be hard to "see" or so they've said.
Seriously -- all black everything is great! But not on the PR stage.
Oooh! I forgot that TAR is on tonight!!!
It's going to be pretty late, I think.
Two weeks in a row the first team to check in fails Amazing Race 101?!?!? Oy.
That leg was rough, with (at least the leaders) starting in the middle of the night, and spending the next night on a 24-hour bus ride, but possibly it was roughest for the poor shoeshine guy who got his business hijacked by a crazy person!

I couldn't believe he didn't even help the guy push the stand back. I mean, come on.
Hadn't even seen that part when I posted earlier. Oy...poor shoe shine guy. Wasn't too sad to see that team go.
