FYI, The Amazing Race starts on Sunday and as usual has a different title so your DVR from last time won't pick it up.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Supermarket Superstar: I really like that the finale brought in actual A&P shoppers and the next product, though I wish there wasn't such a tight time limit, I don't really see the point of that. ON the whole, I kinda wish we'd seen fewer categories during the season and more episodes like this with additional product development.
Eta: aw, not the winner I would have chosen. Not that there are A&P stores near me to buy the product at, anyway.
Yeah, the time limit for cooking doesn't make so much sense to me, but the production technique stuff was interesting, like the fryer/pressure cooker for meat.
Yeah, that stuff is fascinating. I almost wish they were more industrial in making the samples, somehow. And I would love more detail about the pricing.
The CEOs points about packaging were extremely interesting, also.
TAR! Sorry to see dad & daughter go, but they would have been eliminated any way.
It looks like a good field to start out with, though we'll see as the teams get more worn down and real personalities start to emerge.
Why do I know Chester and Ephraim? I love them.
DO you know them from Ellen?
Oh, maybe! Their story was definitely around somewhere years ago.
I'm just so excited TAR is back! Now if only I were better at editing video so I could send in me and my bestie's video to apply (I got maybe 20 seconds in, and it took me a couple hours, since I've never used iMovie before, and I gave up).
Which ones are Chester & Ephraim again? Not the Bingo guys, right?
