Every nightmare I have that doesn't revolve around academic failure or public nudity is about that thing. In fact, once I dreamt that it attacked me while I was late for a test and naked.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

When he talked to his mother she asked if "the other side" had come out. I do think there's more than just a wild temper going on there.

That's what bugged about the latest situation. There was no need to show that - it didn't impact anything other than living arrangements. It's one thing if you're getting new insight or the situation affects the outcome of the competition. But it was just prurient "remember how cray cray this dude is?"

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Well that's a good catch. I hadn't remembered that.

Exactly. It's so uncomfortable to watch. I can't remember another season where we've so often seen PAs and talent wranglers, either.

I feel like it's a result of moving to Lifetime, but I don't know if that's actually true.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Maybe a combination of moving to Lifetime and going to 90 minutes (which I still don't like)

I figured out how to watch Battle of the Sous Chefs, hooray! It's weird seeing these all disconnected from the TC:M episodes, but I can mostly remember what happened.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel sad for Ken as a person, and really think he shouldn't have been on the show. But would the casting people even have known about his issues? Eh, probably -- they definitely do psych testing.

I loved that we got a "behind-the-scenes" look along with the superfans. I mean, seeing the whole runway room was fascinating! And the sad chairs.

The full-sized one, you mean? Because I could see the minis at Trader Joe's. Don't think they can say that in front of the A&P buyer, though.

Oh, that's a good idea, too! Some of the non-winners I think are genuinely just not right for A&P, which I think they make pretty clear. I like Supermarket Superstar quite a lot! Possibly because it's almost all meat. And by meat, I do not mean the food. There's almost no interaction among the contestants, and not a ton of personal backstory. Also, Mrs. Fields gushing over the focus group makes me laugh every time, but I think she's really just like that.

I loved the one -- Susie, I think -- who said "I need vodka" while they were waiting to go out to the runway.

Not for nothing, but the homelessness thing should have been a clue to inquire further. People are homeless for all kinds of reasons, certainly. But make some fucking inquiries, will you?

She's kind of hilarious, both with the contestants and with the focus groups, and for some reason it is just inherently funny to me that she's the focus group expert. I think they could maybe tweak the format a bit, maybe explain more why the flaws that are in the winning products are less fatal than the ones they choose not to develop, but overall I really like that the show is all about showing us the development process. It's just interesting!

I think she was also the one talking about what Nina would say and how Heidi would want the skirt shorter. Awesome! But my favorite thing was how excited they all were to go to Mood.
