Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Aw, Project Runway. I'm so glad Braden won. Aside from the relationship stuff (which was amazing timing-wise! And allergy inducing), the shorts and jacket he kind of threw together because he was spending so much time on the top were so cute!
That said, I'm thoroughly annoyed at the Sandro conflict and flashback opening to the show. So unnecessary. I'm tired of that from suspense-based dramas, I don't need it from competition shows. Just, no.
Yeah, I wasn't paying that much attention, so I thought that was post-runway from last week. Then I was all confused when he was back in the workrooom!
Have y'all watched Capture on CW? Since my tv situation has been sorted, I am doing some catch up.
This show is really fucked up. Y'all MUST watch it. It's like TAR but with Hunger Games.
And without death.
BB: Do these people really not know that Helen is running the house? She's a fucking genius. In BB terms.
....which reminds me of a conversation I was having with my mother about Cat Deeley and the Emmys, and I said, "Well, Jeff Probst has to run Tribal Council, and that's really important..." My mother lost her shit laughing that I had said it was really important. Important in context! For a reality show host! Sheesh.
I think Amanda might be running it this week.
I think "the house" thinks it's Amanda, but it is actually Helen.
Most weeks I would agree with you, but with Andy in as HOH, I think he is going to pick A&M over Helen.
Which makes me curious to see how Helen can manipulate the situation so she is back in charge
Oh yeah, I forgot about Andy.
SYTYCD! Top ten! ::flails::
What is wrong with America?! How can Jenna be in the bottom again?
Also, Cat looks fantastic.
