Yay! I could use a palate cleanser after the Breaking Bad binge I've been on.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I saw, btw, in some of the Cory Monteith articles, confirmation that Glee Project is not going to happen again. Can I just say that the one season of that I watched was better than the last three seasons of Glee combined?? OMG.
I watched the episode (I got busy when it first aired)...
I cannot believe they kept labia-boy in the competition. to me that was the clearest auf I have ever seen. They got rid of the woman who they think should have made pants, but homeboy over here made a dress that literally could not be worn in public. And you kept him?
From the previews for the season, it is pretty clear to me why they kept labia-boy, and I'll leave it at that.
They didn't even talk about it! That poor model. At least she had plenty of accessories to dangle in front of her crotch.
I feel like Timothy's dress was the equivalent of a contemporary dancer getting some Travis Wall choreo for the first round and falling off the stage. So I would have sent him home.
I just realized, I meant to keep an eye out for the designer who likes netting and no slips that scared Tim in the audition and see what she came up with. Maybe next challenge. Although I have forgotten which one she was. I think Alexander Pope was my favorite based on the audition pieces, by the way. That plaid thing with the sleeves, I really liked that.
Helen is the one who scared Tim. She seems very intent on proving how badass she is.
Bradon's dress was my favorite. I honestly didn't think the auf'd dress was bad either.
The auf'd dress wasn't that bad, I agree. From the back it was really cute. From the front it was mostly meh, but not terrible. I'm not even sure it was too short, but the shape was, I don't know, not right somehow. I guess the proportion was off?
Helen is the one who hates Kate? Am I remembering right that she was taking about putting her models in pasties? Her dress was pretty, now that I look at pictures so I can remember which one it was.
And in pictures I don't like Justin's near as much as I did on the runway.
I'm not mad at Bradon for winning. I was more surprised to like some of the others that we hadn't seen as much of when they were being made, I guess, which lessened the impact of his dress for me. It just seemed kind of obvious for the challenge. Pretty and well made, though.
Yes, the one who has already decided to hate Kate! And she did talk about pasties, etc. Because, you know, she's so badass. @@
Although I will say Kate's dress looked like something you would make a detestable five-year-old wear.
Heh. You aren't wrong.
The second season of Breaking Pointe premieres tonight on the CW! I love this show.
Crap! I forgot all about it!
