On twitter he defended this move by saying he prefers the eps to end on a positive note. Which of course is utter bullshit because by eliminating people at the top of the show, there is no positive note to end on because the whole show now has the angel of death hanging over it.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

The ONLY upside to Carlos going home is not having to listen to Cat say "car-loss."
Oh good. Thanks for seeing sense Nigel. Last week was just so...awkward and off-putting.
That was quick. Good on Nigel for listening to criticism.
Yeah, that's better. It probably helped that the eliminated people danced so well last time.
The change is so much better; booting the kids and then still making them dance with their partners was just crazy pants. However, if I were Carlos or Brittany, I'd be pissed. I think if this had been in place last week, Jade would've definitely been going home instead as Carlos danced beautifully. It still would've been close with Brittany and Mariah and they might've kept Mariah anyway so as not to break up a couple, but at least Brittany would've had a chance.
Ugh. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Also, I enjoyed the way Cat said "Car-lass". But then again, I pretty much enjoy everything she does. She even makes cracked out fashion and Heidi braids seem cheekily adorable. That's my girl.
I am glad for the change I suppose. I think solos should be at the end.
Has anyone else watched The Hero? I just watched the first 4 eps from yesterday's marathon, and kind of liked them.
Is that the one with The Rock?
