"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

WHAT JESSE SAID.

Of course, I often find myself thinking that many of the songs chosen for younger contestants are completely inappropriate (in the sense they sound ridiculous coming out of the mouths of people still in high school).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh good. I just kept wondering how it got all the way to the performance stage with no one saying "um, guys...STOP BEING GROSS AND OFF PUTTING"

Thrive to spite them

I thought that was icky and weird too.

Especially later when he was getting all choked up talking about how she's a gift to singing, or whatever he was choking up over.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Exactly. All season long he's been working this proud papa angle and then he's singing about falling in love with her. Ewww. And no.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't with the Voice finale from 9-11, so someone tell me who won and if there's anything in the show I should see?

Also, I feel like they are setting us up for a crappy season of SYTYCD, between all the "investing in people we're not sure can do it" and the actual criticism tonight, so maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised? Although is the criticism because they are actually going to cut people next week? Maybe so.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

What Jesse said.

Both things.

I can't believe how much filler The Voice is managing to cram in.

Saw the Top 20 for SYTYCD. I think there are some dancers who are really good in their style, not sure how they will do in other styles or partnering with dancers who aren't quite as strong.

Glad the tapper got in, but sorry the other guy got hurt.

I think Amy is strong (she's the dark haired, super pale girl, I think her style is jazz) - she danced with Jasmine.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

SYTYCD -

So I did not really care for the hip hop routine. Luther has done much better work.

I loved the first Modern piece. Stacey is great. The boo-hooing was a bit much though.

The tappers' routine was okay, but I felt like there was so much lost opportunity.

Loved the Animators. They did a great job.

I loved the second Modern piece. Mia did a great job.

I did not like the ballroom routine at all. I thought the camera work blew all kinds of chunks. The dancing seemed to be pretty good, but who the fuck could tell.

Sonia's routine (Modern 3) - I thought Jasmine put all of her shit into that dance. Holy shit. I don't think Jasmine has anything left after that.

Holy shit - the men's dance was fucking awesome. Loved it.

And now I get Bon's post: the women's dance was really good too. BTW, their choreographer I *know* was on something. And his teeth could be seen from SPACE.

I liked Sonia's Top 20 dance, but the camera work and smoke was so much ass. Too hard to see all of what I wanted to.

I thought the judges' comments were kind of bullshitty.
