This is days late, but I still think it was so stupid of the Amazing Race Evil Newlyweds to be in this alliance of strong teams, and U-Turn the weak ones. If you're going to be strategic, it is time to try to get rid of your strongest competition, not the people you think are losers! Crikey.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Right - neither of those teams are/were going to make the final without a lot of luck, and they are both mistake prone enough that you really want them there if you can swing it.
It was stupid on the part of the other leading teams as well, of course, but I feel like they are more "team" oriented (to their detriment at this point), where I would have thought Max and Katie would be more ruthless. Although looking back, they couldn't have U-Turned Bates and Anthony anyway, since they got there first.
Survivor Jesus is so perfect. He was very focused on flipping his lovely locks last night, too.
He already gave her the idol this episode
Oh that's right. Though I think they had all agreed in advance that she had dibs on it as the winner of the challenge.
No Amazing Race watchers? I'm very happy with the ending. I love a team that's enthusiastic, good-natured, and doesn't take themselves too seriously.
Yeah, I'm really happy for them. Solid win! And fun last set of challenges. (Fun to watch, anyway!)
Me too. (But have none of these people ever been to a wedding?)
Sunday night live television is Mad Men & Game of Thrones - TAR has to wait.
Nice guys do win, sometimes. Loved the remark that they'd had plenty of time on plane flights to learn geography from staring at maps. :-)
