Because books.

Malcolm has a special place in my heart for a lot of very shallow reasons, but that's a good one, too.

As much as I like him, though, and would love to see someone who actually dominated challenges win a season for once, I'm rooting for Cochran all the way.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think the only misstep is that it looks like Malcolm actually could have kept his idol, which he was clearly trying to suss out at tribal, given Erik's vote for "fillup". But not a risk worth taking.

From the other side, I think sticking with the plan was clearly the way to go rather than turning on Shari (or Andrea, whut?), since it did pretty much force the idols to be played, and no one's that sad to see Phillip go in the first place.

Because books.

I guess they were keeping Phillip because taking him to the end with you would assure that you won? I'm just not sure I could have put up with him this long.

That challenge was pretty much designed so that only the bro-liance had a shot. Maybe Erik. And most of the challenges have been similarly weighted, so I'm less inclined to want to reward someone for that.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Malcolm has a special place in my heart forever for the line "Phillip is the fun sponge at camp."

I LOVED this.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm going to put this here because of SYTYCD -- I saw a performance of D-Man In The Waters by Bill T. Jones last night, and in a couple of moments, it was like when you see Casablanca for the first time and the famous lines sound like clichés. I bet those moves weren't cliché when Jones made them up!

Hah! That's funny, Jesse. SYTYCD starts up in May! Soon!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Man, catching up on PR is making me insecure about my wardrobe choices. I wore a neon pink jacket to work recently and got a lot of compliments on it! And my shoes and purse often match, although that's because wearing black patent shoes pretty much all the time and carrying a black & white purse is just easier than thinking about different choices.

For context, I'm just finishing the Lord and Taylor challenge. I've never been in a Lord and Taylor so I have no idea what would go in one of their windows. All I know is that I agree with Nina that the one dress is more in the $25 price range than $250.

The stripper challenge was interesting, just to see how differently the "these bodies are not what I'm used to" complaints came across than when they are dressing women who aren't models. Good thing no one won, though, what a fiasco.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

-t, PR fashion is not reality. They pay lip service to "real women", but then punish the designers for not being "high fashion" or "editorial" enough.

True. And I guess I know that. I just had a momentary "standing right here, watching your show" twinge, at two different designers saying "No woman would want to wear that color" when it is pretty prominent in my closet. I have known for ages that my taste level is questionable, though, that sort of thing should not surprise me.
