Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Finally caught up with Face Off. I love that show so much. It's wild with the one winner, though. But I can't say I'd argue with the choices.

Right? He seems like a nice guy, too.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, and reasonably modest, just happy in his work. Which is good, I have to say. And making the editorial decision to scrap when it wasn't working was such a good decision that people often don't make.

I don't remember that. I was pleased that the makeup that was supposed to have animatronic eyes still worked well without them, but that was someone else. What struck me about the winning makeup was something the judges pointed out, that the design could have gone hackneyed witch very easily but the execution made it beautiful and demonic, as intended.

Oh, sorry, that was two episodes ago. I watched them back to back, and lost track.

But yes, I think that one could have won if he'd taken his mentor's advice not to spend too much time on the animatronics. The only hit they took was for the painting, which they knew was a time issue.

Because books.

Top Chef:

I love Brooke! And I will miss Stefan, but as entertaining and capable as he is, I don't think he's ever had enough creativity to win.

Project Runway: There's no "I" in team, dude.

Also, Susan Sarandon looks better and better every year. I worship her.
