t,
the guy with half his head shaved.
I expected him to annoy, but I actually liked him once they were working, especially when he was up front about saying his partner had been right to start with the dark base coat. Their goblin was pretty cool.
I really like the mentoring this season, that added a lot to my understanding of all the factors that go into makeup design.
He wasn't as bad as the guy who left last year, "no one understands my genius!" (which was really just a hot mess).
Yeah, half-shaved-head dude had me worried with the foundation challenge and his "outside the box thinking" comment, but he doesn't compare to that guy.
I haven't gotten all the way through PR yet to know who won, but I just had to pop in and say Isaac Mizrahi's polka-dot suit! Love!
Isaac Mizrahi's polka-dot suit! Love!
Isn't it awesome?!
So awesome.
And I am pleased with the winner. I liked all three collections this time, which is always nice for me.
I had decided to bail on the upcoming "team" season, but I just went ahead and put the first episode on the DVR to record. I'll watch it if I have time. I miss Tim Gunn. But this team idea sounds problematic.
I was satisfied, too. Strangely, Uli's collection was the one I liked least, although I didn't hate it. Just a few too many feathers and weird embellishments that I thought ended up looking a little tacky.
I can't imagine what the teams will be like on the new PR, but I know it's one I'll watch. PR, I can never seem to quit you.
yeah, Isaac's show had the team concept, and i liked it then. Of course, with the team concept, it's so much more about the personalities. So, I'll give it a shot. also, La Kors will not be judging this season, which I am not happy about.
I realize show not called Body Off, but I wish they spent more time on the costumes, sometimes. Like, if you put your guy in a robe, that saves a crapload of time vs. making a whole body of makeup.
