The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am very sad about Amanda. I liked her

Because books.

I like him a great deal, but I don't want him to win.

How come?

I like Amanda, but she doesn't seem terribly original to me. And every week she seemed to let them dress her up however they wanted. I would have liked to see the kind of performer she wanted to be.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't know. I think maybe it should be a pop star who wins?

See, whereas, to me, that's what AI or X Factor is for.

But I think only the first season was really about someone's amazing/unique voice.

If it really were about "the voice," the final four would be something like Bryan Keith, Nicholas David, Brandon Mahone, and Suzanna Choffel. Or Nelly’s Echo, Nicole Nelson, Or De'Borah. Heck, even Avery Wilson, and I really disliked him. I'm totally bored by Melanie Martinez, but at least she's original sounding.

Terry, Nicholas (see above) and Trevin are all good, but I feel that a lot of their success was packaging (in various forms).

And don't even get me started on Chickadee.

I wasn't so big on Amanda for a long time, but she just won me over this week! And lost America, I guess.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I am not surprised that Amanda went home as she is just the kind of good that is good but not great/unusual enough to stand out that tends to make a great "shocking" elimination. Kind of like the Latoya London of The Voice (rather than the JHud). And as far as this:

And every week she seemed to let them dress her up however they wanted.

The ever lengthening, every blonding weave parade was getting out of control. She looked so cute with her short bob when the season first started.

I wish someone other than Amanda had gone home (Hi, Cassadee!) but once it got down to Amanda vs. Nicholas, I was full on Camp Nicholas David. I still don't think he'll win, but of the people left on the show, I think he should win.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I have GOT to figure out a way to watch next season of SYTYCD live so I can watch and post here because dang, I'm finally watching the final 2 shows tonight and it's agonizing to not have anyone to share reactions with! Well, except the cats, and they don't care at all about dancing (except to become very wary of my feet). Like the moment in the final results show when Tiffany started that disco routine and I haven't really been paying full attention to the intro and for a few horrified moments I thought she had selected that as her favorite dance that she wanted to do again! No way! *Phew*, nope. And the episode before that when Eliana finally got access to a pole for a dance (I very clearly recall a clip of her pole dancing in the audition episode) and then the poor girl barely got to touch it. I assume since Tiffany couldn't master it in the limited rehearsal time given and it seemed unfair to give one girl more time on such a scene stealer....but still. There's few things more amazing than a really artistic/acrobatic pole dance routine.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Literally said "Holy SHIT!" out loud at the end of TAR.

In a good way.

I cried. That was an awesome finale.
