Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

I would've said Travis, but he came off as kinda more diva bitch than Nick on his show, so I think he's not worthy of the Divine Jakob Carr

Hah. I thought he came off more self-centered, but not as much "diva"--just like, massively stressed and not thinking about others as much as he should. I wanted to pat his head and tell him to not take so much on.

When does SYTYCD start up again??

Also, I would SO watch an Allyson/Twitch Step Up movie, but there are a ton of other SYTYCD dancers I'd watch in that too. But then, who am I fooling? I've seen all of them, even if I think they're mostly awful.

meara, I think stress was definitely working on our poor Peanut. I cut him a little slack, but seriously . . . the whole banana affair? I loved Nick snapping on him the next episode. "I am cooking for you. I'd put some bananas in it, but oh, right . . . you are allergic." Ha! I liked Nick so much more than I thought I would after watching that show. And Travis is already engaged so he couldn't be Mr. Jakob anyway.

I have seen every Step Up movie in the theater. I saw Step Up 2: The Streets twice in the theater because I liked it just that much. I own Step Up 2 on DVD, but that series has really experienced diminishing returns since then. Still, I will see as many of them first run in a movie theater near me as they decide to make because they just don't make enough dance movies, good, bad or ugly, and when will I get my Center Stage 2, dammit? When?

On topic on The Voice: I am living for Nicholas David and Amanda and I haven't even seen the show tonight yet. Love them both.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Another Nicholas David fan here. OMG I lurves him.

I did not want to kill Melanie tonight which is a win for her. I think Cassawhatever's voice is warbly - I do not get the love for her.

The Voice: I want Nicholas David to win it all. His voice is incredible -- sometimes he sounds like Al Green. And I love that he hasn't cut his hair or changed his wardrobe.

His reaction to Bill Withers was one of the best things about this episode. Ditto his pigtails.

Nicholas David in pigtails singing What's Goin' On FTW! Loved it. I also enjoyed Amanda and thought she did the Adele song justice in an unexpected way. Also, both group songs were a hot mess, but in Any Way You Want It, Amanda was a rock star out there. The other kids looked like her back up singers. I wanted to love Cody but Somebody to Love was too big for him, as it is for most people not named Freddy Mercury. I liked it, though.

X-Tina is such a crazy hater. I think people are voting just to get her off the judges panel.

ETA: Ha! Pigtail appreciation x-post.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I am so ridiculous pleased about that Twitch and Allison story. Like best news all week. They're both such amazing dancers! And apparently mensches!

No more Team X-tina!

Awww, poor X-Tina. I'm a fan, but on The Voice, she is a terrible contestant picker, a terrible coach and a huge hater as a judge. And Dez was terrible last night, so good on America. Cody should've outlasted Melanie, though.

Agreed, on Cody and Melanie. I know she is a good singer, but her voice bugs me.

I'm kind of curious to see how next week will be with Christina, now that she has nothing to lose.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm pretty sure her bitchface will be turned up to 11, but maybe she'll surprise!
