"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Caught up on TAR and agree on all points.

Long Hair Don't Care is going to be in much better physical shape next episode, even if their task was time consuming because they just didn't get so beat physically. I was surprised that the fish in a barrel task didn't take longer for some of those teams. Maybe it was clear which bags had been rifled through.

But yeah, those are the legs I wouldn't be that great at. Navigation in a crowded city, lots of seriously physical labor.

And I like the twinnies despite the incessantness of their cheerleading. I would probably have asked them to chill a bit if I were their opposition, but when they didn't, you can hardly blame them, because it was all positive! But it would definitely have been wearing if you were right there. I think I would have been okay with it because of my highly developed teacher skill of tuning shit out.

I also like the Chippendales. Something about the combination of their accent and their enthusiasm. They talk about a temper, but I haven't really seen it yet. Maybe next week?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am shocked at how much I like the Chippendales! The twins would drive me fucking batshit at the challenges, but maybe I'd like them in the rest stops?

Drag Race All-Stars is back, bitches!

There was a new concept where the queens had to compete in teams, and they had to do a sort of match game where they picked who they wanted to be partnered with. Pandora got stuck with Mimi Imfurst, the queen who had a total meltdown on her season. When they got partnered together, Pandora basically just gave up and they lost. I think that she would have been quite good competing on her own.

I don't get why Mimi got invited back. She wasn't very good AT ALL and I don't think she made good drama. Unless they brought back as cannon fodder and then who ever got stuck with her was doomed.

Plus I don't like the team aspect.

Yes, she was clearly going to be the first out, and when they came up with the team concept, you knew that whoever got stuck with her was going home.

Oh that is too bad!

I did costumes for The Actor's Nightmare where Pandora's alter ego Michael was in the Shakespeare section, and his line reading of "He wore his beaver up" was such comedy gold that I remember it now, 20 years later.
