"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jilli,

did you see the steampunk ep of FaceOff? You might have liked it.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I didn't! I need to track that down. I watched the Tim Burton episode of FaceOff and loved it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I love FaceOff, but I don't like Hot Set as much.

The work is poor quality on Hot Set. I still watch it, but the final product is just so-so. I think they need to give them more time.

FaceOff: I didn't understand the judges this week. The challenge included an exaggerated feature, and then they complained about all of the exaggerated features.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The video game character one? I guess they were differentiating between exaggeration that worked and what didn't but I'm not sure i always agreed with them.

I think Laura is, in general, my favorite. I really like everything she's done.

I haven't gotten to the judging part of the little kids challenge yet, but I love the idea so much! I hope all the finished makeups are good.

Yeah, I'm always behind that show. Too many shows in one night. I guess their criticism would have made more sense if their criticisms were more than just things were "too big".

Even the one that won had something that was "too big", iirc. I usually like the judging, but their reasoning was a little hard to follow on that one.

I do hate that every week they do the same "...the winner is" cut to commercial. Even knowing it's coming it annoys me.

I decided not to watch Hot Set because what they show of the finished work in the commercials is not very exciting. Sounds like that was the right call.

Because books.

Project Runway: Wow, Zoe Saldana is serious about judging. She's not pulling punches at all.
