Hah. I am completely with most of what you wrote, but especially the last section. I liked Alison in her season, but she's amazing these days! And always happy to see Alex. How about just all stars being awesome together, featuring Alex and Alison, and Mark, and Melanie, and all kinds of other folks....

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Now I really want a two hour between seasons all-star special.
Can someone make that happen?
Remember the Emmy dress challenge Ven won (it was Kenley's dress). They showed up at the Emmys.
Quick: think about what the dress looked like when he won. Do you remember? [link]
This is what the dress looked like yesterday.
Didnt' someone use a print and get dinged for it being too casual? They shouldn't let the designer change the dress. Also those shoes do not go with that dress.
Also those shoes do not go with that dress.
Or any other, for that matter.
I can see the designer taking direction from the client when it's someone like Iman or Heidi or whatever, but that dress was made specifically for Kenley, and she modeled it. I could see maybe finishing it a little better, but a whole new dress seems weird. Unless they tell the "client" in that situation that they can request changes?
Huh. Changing the skirt length, even changing the fabric to a print, I can kind of see as just client alterations, but going strapless seems like it makes it a whole different dress. You can't even see the Ven pleating.
Wasn't that challenge also tied to the color of a car?
Yes.
I don't remember seeing any cars with flowers on them.
