Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, fine, I will watch Face Off. I know virtually nothing about makeup, but they show enough of the construction to be interesting and the finished reveals are amazing!

I'm only a half hour into Project Runway, but, jeesh, Ven is the worst!

Eta: and his client looked better in the before picture than in his dress. And OMG even after he barely stays in he's copping attitude! Wow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Face Off is super fascinating -- they do a great job of showing the criticism during judging, too. You can't see the edges, but the judges make sure you know they are important.

Yeah, all the discussion of edges was wooshing over my head, but I got that they matter. And I like the way the judges got up close to the models and poked at the prosthetics. I just enjoy seeing that.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

t,

Ven also does not see anything wrong with his attitude now based on his twitter acct. I get he is super competitive but damn. Is he human with any understanding of emotions?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I thought Heidi's blunt "It's your fault, Ven" would make some kind of impression, but I guess not. Wow. And he really is a one way monkey.

I think I just had too much TV to consider Face Off last season, but I am in for this one. I do wish the episodes weren't an hour and half long

I love the way that he tweeted three times that the pairings weren't random and being paired with her was a deliberate attempt to bring him down. If he were a real designer, he would have risen to the challenge.

Or acknowledged that it was a difficult challenge and that he hopes to grow in the future.

BTW, this is not the first season of Project Runway. Why he wasn't prepared for any number of unusual challenges is beyond me. No excuses.

Yes! There is a "real woman" challenge EVERY DAMNED SEASON. He should have been prepared.

Right? Had he not watched the show?
