Cyrus and Janelle were early favorites for me, but after this week I think neither one is capable of branching out too far from their own niches. I didn't vote for either of them this week.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I also watched Project Runway tonight. I pretty much agree with what everyone else said.
My thing is usually being appalled at what Heidi is wearing to judging. This time it was WTF was Nina thinking with that ghastly bejeweled number???
Hey, meara, are you going to be in the SF area on a Wednesday any time soon? We are plotting a SYTYCD dinner.
Sadly, no--this project I'm on has NO sites in SF!! Boo. But I was going to say to Kat/bon bon/anyone in LA that I'm in town and free this coming Wednesday, and would be happy to pick up some food and bring it to someone's house...
The High Talker and Twitch and Mia and Peanut? Hells yeah!
Heh. I know, I'm so disappointed its not out THIS week, because I totally would've gone to the movies tonight. Ah well.
There are still so many dancers, I barely know their names or remember what they did. I really liked the Sonja Amelie/Pasty number, and the foxtrot was surprisingly unpainful. I totally noticed Cyrus hiding during the opening number and rolled my eyes--he looked awfully pretty before they started dancing all half-shirtless in the jive, but that's about all I can say for that. I did think Eliana was pretty awesome.
But having it all rolled up in one week PLUS the Step Up dancers, and all that? Madness. I think I would've liked it better if I knew going into it that night who the bottom three (or however many) were. Then I could at least watch those numbers with some extra anticipation. I think it would scare the crap out of the dancers, but maybe just tell the audience and not them? Or something? Anyway, glad Alexa is gone. Dead inside indeed.
Big Brother: Oh snap!
Also, the SYTYCD viewing extravaganza will be in full effect this coming Wednesday at Casa kat perez with me, bon bon, and meara in the house . . . and possibly bob bob, too, if we are very, very lucky. And any other Buffistas local to LA or who may just happen to be in the LA area on Wednesday if you care to join. Hit me up at my profile address for the 411. A good time will be had by all, I promise!

sits next to Lee, wiping tears and seething with jealousy.
We need to get with the plotting and planning, Lee! Although Wednesdays are complicated for me right now.
We do! I was going to email Megan Walker tonight! Maybe we can watch it on Thursday instead
Whoa. You just blew my mind.
