Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't believe the promo saying that the spam and eggs goes perfectly with a Bombay Sapphire cocktail. Seriously??

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, I haven't watched, so I have to duck out of this thread, but can I just say how infinitely amused I am by the minimal comments here already? Bwah!

Art Crawl!!!

I loved Hung's wacky quickfire dish. So insanely smurftastic.

And Howie -- omg. I think he knew he was going anyway and that's why he volunteered. And seriously - last year Mia volunteered and they let her go. (Although, I think in that instance they already knew who their winners were and were just going over the bottom three.)

And whoo hoo for Casey and Sarah! Two of the top three!

Art Crawl!!!

What Bourdain says about next week:

There will be a SlaughterFest of Horror, an Orgy of Bloodletting, Partial Nudity, Flammable Liquids, Unspeakable Misuse of Power Tools and Small Woodland Creatures, and the Plaintive Wailing of the Doomed. It will make Altamont look like Lilith Fair.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

TC I am sooo glad Howie is finally gone! I agree with you Sumi that he knew he was leaving anyway, and tried to pretend he had some control over it.

That was basically what he was saying in the wait-around room -- fuck them if they want to fire me, I quit!

Art Crawl!!!

Ooh, from Ted's blog:

It’s been two weeks and I’m still bummed about voting off Tre -- all of the judges thought he was a strong contender to win the whole gonza magilla. (Although I just got some exciting news about Tre today that I can’t publish; just know that good things continue for Chef Wilcox -- I’ll share the news when I can.)

ha! Bombay Sapphire cocktails go well with EVERYTHING! (If Bravo is to be believed.)

Did anyone watch the Tim Gunn thing after Top Chef? Was it the whole first ep of his show? I thought the premiere was tonight.
