Yay for buffistas sytycd! Yeah, the blonde black girl is fabulous. I can't wait until they let her on camera. Oh, and I saw that plie! There was a great pointe moment in second in the ballet number, too. Could it be? Could we have a season with actual technical prowess?
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I really liked the ballet choreography, which surprised me because I often don't, but then they said it was by Desmond Richardson and I was like, oh, of course.
So jealous of y'all getting to watch together!
You know, we could do that here too. I can even supply the Mexican food.
Hm, I could bring wine, but I can't provide the good snark.
Clearly, we need to import people (since I can't either). Maybe Megan Walker?
Do it! And I don't believe that y'all can't snark. It is the Buffista way.
I think you should come up and judge for yourself!
And then give us pointers.
Lee is full of good ideas today.
Unrelatedly: is anyone watching American Ninja Warrior? I'm kind of upset about the couple of competitors that finished the course this week but won't be going through to the next stage. It doesn't seem right. Especially since people who didn't finish the first course are going through from other regions.
I have been watching (and loving it) but not this week. It's the Japanese vs. the American thing. The Japanese version, if you didn't complete the course, you didn't move on. If nobody completed, then the season ended. The American version, of course you have to have your controllable number of entrants for the next level. So yeah, I agree, unfair.
