I really liked the way that it was about the music, not the way the singers look or dance. The judges were solid, had good criticism, and were really helpful in the singers' development.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I'm going to miss Ben Folds. I was thinking it should have been coming on soon, too.
Rats.
Dammit. I really liked The Sing-Off. And yet they found the need to bring The Voice back for two seasons per year, and I have decided that I'm over that. Or maybe I'll just tune in for the blind auditions and just stop watching after that part.
Boo! The Sing Off was a great show. Some of the best singing and judging on reality TV. Seems silly to dump it. I thought ratings were pretty decent for the show, too. I'd definitely take that show over an early return for The Voice (and I like The Voice) or over yet another Idol style singing show like Duets where the contestants weren't bad but the format is funky and the judging is cray-cray.
Oh, So You Think You Can Dance makes me so happy. That ballerina was incredible.
Okay, the twins are not that talented, but if they do not get a sitcom, it is a CRIME.
Coming next Fall on Bravo....
You don't even need a script. They would be the perfect wacky neighbors.
I loved them.
