Because books.

I missed the name of the guy who made Mary cry, but wow. I can't imagine being that naked and that vulnerable on a stage. That was really gorgeous.

The exorcism guy was freaking awesome!

I liked the Zombie, but the Exorcism was freaky!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Seriously, wow.

I'll be super interested to see if he can do anything else. I did love Nigel's, "I don't know how you'll do on a show like this, but I don't give a shit."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That guy's body is not made out of the same materials mine is.

Oh, and I forgot to post the link when I saw it, but apparently that lawsuit about how Mary's a coke whore or whatever is a counter-suit, so there's that.

Okay, that's three times I've cried now.

What I love about this show during the audition rounds is always how inclusive the dancers are, and how supportive. If someone gets up there and blows everybody away, they stand up and cheer and applaud. I love that.

This. In spades!

"We have trust issues." Mylar

SYTYCD!!!!

Cat looks gorgeous and I want that coat. When Cat looks good, the show looks good. It was ever thus.

NYC. Hit it, Broadway babies!

Amelia Lowe – Cutie pie. Love the haircut. She’s a little twee, but for now? Loving her. Divine dress. And she’s sweet. Great control. Great extension. Musicality and performance. A little bit shaky on the turns and I sense a whole lotta competition kid in this one. She will likely be annoying in less than a second, but good way to start the show.

Toshihiko (?) Nakazawa – The Ronald McDonald after he stuck his finger in a light socket look has got to go. I can’t believe this kid has a work visa. How? So he was cute. Solid tricks and lots of flexibility and style. I think he is kind of lacking in choreo, including his hip hop dance vocabulary . . . and the turn sequence was painful (but funny). He’s really adorable. Good on the judges for putting him through to choreo rather than Vegas. I doubt he’ll get through, but he might surprise.

Austin Freeman – The wiggle? Did you see that one black girl’s face? Best “Bitch, please” look ever!! I feel you, girl. So you want to be a celebrity? OK. But this is a show for dancers. So. . . Please, keep it moving, fool. And the kid who shouted, “Vegas”? Well played, unknown dancer. This kid wasn’t even so bad it’s memorable bad. What was the point of that?

Shafik Westbrook – Street Entertainer? I don’t care about him. Cat’s over the knee brown suede boots on the other hand? I covet. Fierce. And all of a sudden he starts dancing and I care about him. He’s gorgeous. Great quality of movement and musicality. That one move where he pushed up into kind of planche on one hand? Sick. Definitely agree with the trip straight to Vegas. With that body control? He’ll be able to pick up other stuff.

Robert and Courtney for the choreography round? Ick. Let’s hope they switch it up for other cities. And Ronald McDonald can’t pick up choreo. Who would’ve guessed it? And we didn’t even know the other ten. So that’s that for day one.

Leo Reyes – Cute little PR dancer boy. Awwww. He is an adorable pocket dancer. Don’t care about the sob story. Not even for cutie pie kids. Just dance. It’ll be OK. Blah, blah, blah, mother suicide, blah. Bring it. I’m already kinda over you, so your ass better be amazing. Pretty turn in second to start off and then he does a lot of miming to the music and look, obviously the bitch is trained, but he also has some nasty competition kid habits. Falling out of turns? Tsk, tsk. And he’s also really, really little. How’s he going to partner someone? Yeah, he’s not all that. Wont’ make it out of the first few choreography rounds in Vegas.

Keon Wespe-Shopp(?) – Looks like a Eurotrash Danny. And hello. Dances like an American Danny. Work, dammit! Where to even begin? He was everything. But when you find out you get to go to Vegas? Show some emotion, little one. You’ll need it if you don’t want to get the arrogant edit and get all the little teeny boppers voting for you.

39 through from NY to Vegas and we saw four? Ummm, no. I want more dance in my So You Think You Can Dance.
