Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Wait, we're supposed to be ashamed of that?
I'm not saying you SHOULD be ashamed, but a person who might be ashamed might think that a PBS alternative is more high-brow. (Even though it's not.)
The Great Escape - new reality show airing on TNT this summer:

YAYAY!!
Dancing!
re: the first dancer.
I just watched "Inception" last night, when I heard the first notes of the song, I looked up, a bit alarmed, checking for reality.
I'm glad they are spending less time on the awefuls, I hope that continues.
Also, that stupid dating show with the turning chairs? Why Kat, why? don't make me watch that!
I knew that first dancer was going to go to Vegas before she danced a step. they wouldn't have done the silent film bit if she wasn't going.
So true, V.
