Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I think the overall talent is sadly weak, and I also want to go listen to the Killers now. And my hometown boy James is adorable with how happy he was for himself, but he needs some serious vocal work. Jamar definitely wins the week.

Oh, and I continue to not understand why Tony Vincent isn't a better singer. I don't get him at all.

For me Tony is the epitome of what Simon Cowell might call a Broadway singer. He can sing well, but there is nothing unique about him. Not that anyone can do that, but I think this competition in particular is about finding someone distinctive not just a talented belter.

That's why I'm sad that someone like Naia is gone already. Even James, who needs serious work, at least has a different sounding voice.

Also, if Katrina was trying to not be Adele, that hair and makeup was doing her no favors.

I just saw Tony Vincent's last-chance performance, and the dude just has completely awful song picking abilities. I want to like him so much more than I do.

Chessa wants to be a belter but seems to lack the ability to sustain the big power notes.

Well, he is a Broadway singer. But I feel like he should be more solid/strong on notes! Although his singing for your life is better, I guess. I'm just so not into him and wish the other guy had won last round.

For me half the issue with Tony V is that with his look and every thing about him on stage is all DRAMA!!! and while great for Broadway, not really what you need to pull out if you are trying to leave Broadway and go to pop. he works my last nerve.
