I like the weird voice girls, but not when they're using the stylistic stuff to cover up not being able to hit the notes. I hated how pushy and then whiny she was in the work sessions, and I thought the brothers worked the hell out of that song, which was equally out of their wheelhouse.
I also remember that it was the Charlotte Whobody that I was hating on, Lex's opponent, not Sarah's.
Okay, cereal, but I had to say more about Erin. She really didn't take direction at all, did not understand what they were saying to her. They were talking about song delivery, about the vocal, and she was all, "How could anybody look at me and not see sexy?" That has nothing to do with it. It's how you sing the damn song. So she came out in a garter belt. Not the point, missy!
After that whole process, how could Cee-Lo think he could work with her at all? Winning just confirms what she thinks of herself! BAH.
Oh, and on PR, I am totally unsurprised, but not upset. I forgot he lost to fucking Gretchen!
Yeah, I was rooting for Austin mostly sentimentally, although I think he had some awesome pieces tonight. But I'm also thrilled for Mondo, because I think he really deserves it, too.

Yeah, this seemed more like winning because he should have won before more than for this collection. I did like his collection, but it was not obviously better than other two. I'm curious to see what Neiman-Marcus will be selling, that's for sure.
I thought both Austin and Mondo out-designed Michael. Michael's definitely seemed safe, and a little too easy-resorty or something. Like a new wave Norma Kamali.

I appreciated that Michael didn't make that same damn dress he's been making all season. Though his collection was my least favorite. Austin's was impressive but less to my taste (and OMG his description! Which I could get behind if I looked at his collection and thought "sure, Hasidic vampire in Brooklyn, I can see that", but I couldn't, you know?)
I think the big ringlets were the only element remotely related to Hasidic culture, but maybe not in Austin's head.
