"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think we all need our own personal Tabathas. Seriously. I watch her show every week and I just LOVE how direct she is and she is RIGHT.

Her producers have been excellent at picking the correct locations.

It's interesting how they are all the same though. The salons are always filthy, the stylists are always in need of education, and the manager always needs to have/enforce some rules. Despite this, it does not stop me from watching and loving the show.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Well, if all those things were working, then the business would probably be working. I haven't seen any of the new episodes, though, where she takes over different kind of businesses.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The one with the yogurt shop was pretty interesting, actually, but mostly it's kind of the same -- shitty management, etc. And still awesome! This week's was a beauty school that was super ridiculous.

But how much did you love Dr. Flavio? He was awesome!

Because books.

I saw the dance club one a couple times, but I haven't seen the yogurt shop one yet.

Every time I watch it, I want to bleach my hair and throw out everything but my black clothes, honestly. No way I could pull off her attitude, though.

Dr. Flavio was definitely the best.

I just couldn't believe anyone was paying money to go to that school! Yikes. These are the crappy stylists that Tabatha then has to shape up.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I was yelling at the daughter at the beginning. what do you think caused her dramatic turn around?
