Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't get why the voice people battle their own team. It makes no sense and is opposite of the meaning of the word team.

Seriously.

OMG, that Ironic was a clusterfuck, and I'm glad people acknowledged it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Christina's final choice. I disagree with it, purely from aesthetic reasons. The one she let go home was sex on a fucking stick.

Lordy. How did she let that man leave?

How?

How!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That Ironic was just bad, and kind of a mean/bad song choice.

You are not wrong! I disagreed with almost all of the choices.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Am I the only one still watching TAR? That last leg was brutal. I can't imagine going from a task as physical as the watermelons straight into that roadblock. I wasn't at all surprised that two teams barely finished.

Because books.

We watched, Jessica. The watermelon task was insane, but the harps seemed really hard to me, too. I was half expecting a non-elim leg, too, but I guess not.

I think the watermelons would have been just physically exhausting, and then being that tired having to balance a bottle on your head...dang.

Yeah, the bottle thing was also awful. It was a hard leg. And the combat pilot looked so unhappy, even though he and his wife managed to make it through -- I bet he was not pleased he didn't do well.

They used their Express Pass in the third leg and still came in 6th! I mean, it probably saved them from elimination, but still, that's not gonna feel good.

Because books.

We missed the second episode, and I guess I wasn't paying strict attention during the first one -- I had no idea the one female team was federal agents. It'll be interesting to see what happens when the others find out they're not teachers.

The Voice: All of the song choices seemed so weird. "Total Eclipse of the Heart," really?
