Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was surprised at how off the Broadway guy got -- I mean, if anyone can do it, shouldn't it have been him??

I just have to report how proud I have to have deleted my season pass (or whatever) for ANTM before accidentally getting sucked in!

Because books.

American Idol is just painful this year.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I watched one-and-a-half episodes of The Voice and just couldn't stand it. To me all the voices sounded off and/or weak. There was one young man who sang Grenade (I think that's the name of it), which was the first time I ever heard that song, and I thought, huh, good song, but he doesn't sound quite up to it. Then the next night on Smash, the male lead singer sang the same song and blasted it out, and I thought, ooh THAT'S how that's supposed to sound! Sorry, The Voice guy.

Do we ever talk Mythbusters in here, or is it all reality contests? Not that there's anything wrong with that... just not so much my thing.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

There has been Mythbusters talk, certainly. Whatever's currently airing does tend to dominate.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So, Top Chef! That happened.

Reading the blogs, it sounds like this was a great season for the judges. I'm glad, because for the viewers it was a total snoozefest.

Because books.

I didn't even watch last night. I just didn't care. And I really didn't like the female chef in the final two.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

right?

I saw the last half maybe. that was enough. these chefs burned me out. It seems that the likely were all were odious (at least the ones that lasted close to the end), so who the fuck do I root for?

well, I liked the winner, so that was enough for me.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I think I'm still mad at the Mythbusters for firing a cannon through somebody's house. Are there new episodes back on? Because if there are, my Tivo is not catching them.

Coming back on March 25 [link] I hope that doesn't mean they'll be on Sundays, now, I've got too much TV on Sundays already.
