Bev bugs me, but she clearly makes good food and I agree that Sara and Lindsay have been ridiculous. Grayson totally went up in my estimation for defending her. I'm hoping Sara gets eliminated next and Bev beats the pants off her in LCK.

Indeed. I was suspicious of Grayson in the beginning but she's really grown on me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

PR: Jeez-o-pete, April is still only 22??

Because books.

I felt so bad for her, but at the same time she's SO young. And that dress was a mess. I would love, for once, to see her do something that isn't black or almost!black and short.

I actually liked Kara's dress, or at least what it could have been if it had been executed a lot better. You'd still have to be a skinny skinny woman to wear it well, though.

I would have chosen Mondo's dress over Michael's, too, although I hated the belt Mondo chose. And Michael is rubbing me the wrong way this season, with the melodramatic O faces.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't really get Michael's dress. I just don't like it, it looks like nothing in particular and unflattering in its billowiness. The thing everyone has always said about his winning looks is how beautifully they are cut and this one doesn't look like it is, to me.

Did everyone know they are auctioning off the finished pieces? [link] I didn't until tonight. I'm intrigued by the possibilities.

Eta: I'd forgotten April was so young, she comes across as confident and experienced.

I don't love the quick turn around aspect of the challenge, either, but it's always been part of the show.

All of them? Or just this challenge?

Also, how completely random to do a challenge based on a flavor of gelato. I think I was expecting them all to be really summery, somehow.

The auctions from previous shows have ended and this one hasn't started yet, so I'm not sure, but it looks like all of them.

Oh, very cool. I wonder how it works, though -- you get that actual garment, or you get one made in your size?

They say things like "due to the nature of the challenge this may be unfinished, blah blah blah, as is, disclaimer-cakes" in the terms that make me think it's actual garment, sized for the model, just packed up and mailed to you. Which is interesting.

They didnt focus on it at all but Jerrel's dress seemed to be totally nutbar.
